PowerSafe is the source for reporting and real-time training records management. This system, written by a representative group of utility contractors and owners, is delivered and administered by Alliance Safety Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving safety in the workplace.
No, but members will receive discounts and invoicing privileges.
You will receive an email confirmation providing your company’s username and password. It typically takes up to 4 hours to establish corporate access. You will receive a phone call verifying your company’s information. If it is a weekend or holiday, it may take until the next business day.

Visit powersafetraining.org and click LOG IN from the main navigation menu.
Click orange Forgot Username/Password button.
Follow the prompts to retrieve your username or password.
NOTE: If you have forgotten both your username and password, go through the steps listed above to retrieve your username first. The username will be emailed to the provided email address and can be used to retrieve your password.
Please contact your supervisor or refer to your owner agreement to determine which PowerSafe courses you need to take.
Create a business account and log in by going to www.powersafetraining.org. Click LOG IN from the main navigation menu and then Create a Login. You will receive your business account username and password within four (4) business hours. This will be emailed to the email address given during the creation of this account. (Please check your Spam Box in case the response is filtered to your Spam Mail.)
For non-proctored training, provide students with your company’s username and password and direct them to www.powersafetraining.org. The Accessing Web-based Training tutorial may be helpful in this case.
An administrator of the account will have to follow steps in the PowerSafe database to register each student for proctored training at a Non-ARSC facility. View the Registering for Proctored Courses tutorial for step-by-steps instructions on this process.
If registering for training at an ARSC facility, the administrator will need to call the facility where the training is taking place.
Yes, but the company must provide students with the company’s username and password. Please be sure your employees’ computers meet the minimum specifications for taking the courses.
Make sure your system is running in accordance with the specifications listed below:
1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 and above, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox
2. Sound card (we recommend using head phones)
3. Download the Macromedia Flash Player Plugin (v. 12 or better)
4. High Speed Internet 250k or better/DSL (if you click on Log in under the Take Online Training, your computer speed can be found at the bottom of the screen.
We suggest running only 8 computers simultaneously per T1 line. (Once the content caches, you can add computers and the courses will run at a greater speed.)
Disable all pop-up blockers and check browser settings to make sure they match the specifications listed below.

This is not actually an error. This just means the system did not recognize the student identifier that was entered. You must supply the first and last name of the trainee on this screen so you may add them to the database.

Members may apply for invoicing privileges or pay by credit card. Nonmembers will need to pay by credit card. You may enter the credit card number each time or you may select to place a credit card on file. Your credit card will NOT be charged until a record has been stored in the database. This means that if a student does not finish a course, your credit card will not be charged.

We mail out PowerSafe badges Monday through Friday to the address attached to the username used when logging into the course.

Yes. The PowerSafe database serves as a secure, online source for reporting and real-time training records management. This may substantially reduce audit time by as much as 60 percent.

3. Enter username and password.
4. Enter your Student Identifier in the blank provided.
5. Select “Search”.

Courses are electronically bookmarked. If a student does not complete the course, just follow the same steps to begin the course. The course will resume at the beginning of the section where the trainee left off.
